AFTER 23 idyllic years, Terry and Trish Lemmon are set to leave their five-bedroom house in rural Northumberland for pastures new.
Built in the 1960s, the wonderfully secluded two-storey property is a hidden haven for all who visit. “The house is a wonderful place, people have often walked by before and never knew it was here, that was part of the appeal for us,” says Trish. Tucked away in a cul-de-sac, the spacious house in Morpeth enjoys more than an acre of land which is brimming with nature and wildlife. “We love living in the house, we have the countryside right outside our door. You can often see badgers, foxes and pheasants roaming around,” says Trish. The garden at the back of the house is split into two levels, one with lawn and flower beds and the other including wild woodlands, trees and wildlife. “We purposely kept the garden as it was, the woodland garden is a great location for walking the dog,” says Trish. The deceptively spacious five-bedroom, split-level abode is in a perfect location, adjoining King Edward’s School the property is both private and quiet but within walking distance of amenities . The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, while the other bathroom is shared between four good-sized bedrooms. |
